This is my mentor Coach Ana Mendez. We had a sports award dinner with everyone that participated in sports for Southlands. I was nice to see all my soccer teammates. I really missed them.It was also nice to see other I-Poly peers to get awards, we cheered like crazy! Ana Mendez was telling me to not stop playing soccer and that I could possibly make it to major soccer or a pro. It really encouraged me to know that my coach believes that I could "make it". I would like to play college soccer and maybe join a pro league. This journey has been amazing!
